Answer:

The correct answer is A. People who decided to explore La Florida were expecting to find a waterway to take them to China and Japan; Cibola; and gold.

Explanation:

When the Spaniards launched themselves into the exploration of the seas, they did so with the intention of finding a new route to Asia. Once the American continent was discovered, they began to explore it without neglecting their intention to reach the Indies.

In turn, once America was discovered, news and legends of large quantities of gold spread throughout its territories, which caused European fortune hunters to embark in search of these treasures. In particular, one of the main legends that were generated from this situation was that of Cibola, a city entirely built in gold, whose wealth was incalculable, to which it was located hypothetically in Florida.

Therefore, all three aspects equally motivated the exploration of the Florida peninsula.

What are similarities and differences between Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan?
uysha [10]

Their are many factors which force one to think about similarities between Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan by encompassing many issues like:

 • Both embraced freedom of religion,
 • heavily invested in developing a strong armed forces,
 • revolutionized tax cuts to boost job growth and put money back into American operating-class pockets and
 • advocated limited entitlement programs in favor of back-to-work and job preparedness initiatives.

The two are not entirely cut out of the same cloth though. There are a few disparities which stand out when it comes to Trump vs. Reagan. For example, opponents of Trump have long claimed that the head of state is not treating all citizens equally, especially that he is marginalizing women and minorities. While this point is being discussed, this is not the egalitarian stance of Reagan: he was a strong believer in personal freedom, and that applied to all men, irrespective of sex, color, faith or other traits.

After the signing of the Treaty of Ghent, there was a backlash against the Federalist Party because Americans believed the party
belka [17]

Answer:

After the signing of the Treaty of Ghent, there was a backlash against the Federalist Party because Americans believed the party wanted the northern states to secede from the United States and join with Britain.

Explanation:

The Treaty of Ghent, signed on 24 December 1814, was a peace treaty between the United States and the United Kingdom that put an end to the War of 1812 (1812-1815). The Treaty ceased all hostilities, restored the borders between the United States and British North America (which would later Canada) to prewar status, and restored diplomatic relations between both countries.

The War of 1812 wasn't popular in many northern states of the US, especially in New England, as the war had crippled the New England economy because of its major economic and trade links with British North America. The then ruling party in New England, the Federalist Party, opposed the war because of this and campaigned for peace with the British. When the Treaty of Ghent was signed, there was a backlash against the Federalist Party, as Americans from other states believed the party wanted the northern states to secede from the United States and join with Britain. However, the Federalists in New England took a moderate position, as they recognized that any moves towards secession would likely trigger a major conflict, and they worked towards restoring trade with the British instead.
