President Obama engaged in the presidential debates with Romney in a confident and astute way. Mitt Romney on the other hand, wasn't as sure of his answers which led to many believing that Obama won.

Obama's policies also led to the national unemployment rate dropping below 8% which encouraged people to support him some more.
