There are many ways in which the Roman Catholic Church affected early England.

Another way in which the Catholic Church contributed to the protection of culture in England was by translating many works of literature into Latin. This allowed knowledge to be preserved and read by more people.

Finally, the Catholic Church was a vital force in uniting the culture of the country.
