1/2(c)+6=11

Solving it:
1/2(c)+6=11
move the 6 over to where the 11 is, making it a -6.
1/2(c)= 11-6
(which is 5)
1/2(c)=5
now divide by 1/2 to cancel it out and leave us with the (c)
1/2 divided by 1/2 is 1.
5 divided by 1/2 is 10.
c=10
