Answer: improper fraction : x= 29/4

Mixed number: x=  7   1/4

Decimal form: x=  7.25

Step-by-step explanation: * x is the shortened of saying 1x *

  1. Add like terms (out of the equation combine +3x and +1x which is 4x. And combine +2and -6 which is -4 ) and now the equation is reads 4x -4= 25
  2. Move the "-4" to the other side pf the equation by Addition Property of Equality  4x -4 = 25                                                                                              .                   +4    +4                                                                                                    .                 4x    = 29
  3. Then, separate the 4 from the x to get it by itself by Dividing 4 into 4x . *Remember what you do to one side of the equation do to other side* 4x/4 = 29/4
  4. The answer now depends what the teacher wants if she want it to stay as an improper fraction it will be 29/4 if it wanted in Mixed number its 7 and 1/4 and if its necessary to have in decimal form its 7.25.

The soccer team is selling key chains to raise money for the team. They ordered 100 key chains the cost $0.25 each. There is a f
liraira [26]

Answer:

k = 8 + 100 (.25) - 2x

Step-by-step explanation:

Since there's a flat shipping rate, you need to first add 8.

Then you have to pay for the 100 key chains at $.25 each so you have to multiply them to get the total cost.

Next you earn 2 dollars for every key chain sold which becomes the 2x. You are then subtracting this from the amount of money you are spending to get k.

Determine the amount needed such that when it comes time for retirement, an individual can make semiannual withdrawals in the am
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

$535,528.03

Since the semiannual withdrawals will be made for 35 years, the annuity will have two payments per year.

You may use a financial calculator to calculate the balance that will match the present value of your annuity distributions when you retire. The following are the inputs:

N = 35*2 = 70 semi-annual withdrawals total time

I/Y = 4.5 percent /2 = 2.25 percent semi-annual interest rate

FV = 0 (future value) (use 0 in annuity if not given)

PMT = 15,265; semi-annual payment

Enter the functions to find PV: CPT PV = 535,528.026

As a result, the person will need $535,528.03 in cash.
