Answer:

The reason why oxygen was absent from Earth's early atmosphere is excess heat converted atmospheric oxygen into other gases. Therefore, the correct answer to the above question is option A.

Explanation:

Oxygen is a most abundant gas of the atmosphere. Oxygen occupies 21% of the total share of the gases that is present in the atmosphere of earth. All the living animals and aquatic animals take oxygen for their life to happen.

Green plants are the only source of conversion of carbon dioxide into oxygen. Oxygen is carried in human body by the blood throughout the whole body. Due to the presence of oxygen in air are very animals and plants living on the earth

Answer:

Oxygen chemically combined with newly formed rocks

Explanation:

At the start of the universe, oxygen was produced as by products of photosynthesis by cyanobacteria. Rocks contained a mineral called olivine that combined rapidly with oxygen in the presence of water thereby removing oxygen from the earth's atmosphere.

However, as the earth crust evolved to a composition more like what we have today, olivine virtually disappeared. In the absence of that mineral to react with water and consume oxygen, the gas was finally allowed to accumulate in the earth atmosphere. Oceans eventually became saturated, and oxygen crossed into the atmosphere.

The partial square show a cross between two tall pea plants. the allele for tall height (T) is dominant & the allele for sho
topjm [15]

The fraction of offspring that the Punnett square predict will be tall is ¾ (option C).

What is the punnet square?

The punnet square is a graphical representation used to determine the probability of an offspring expressing a particular genotype.

The punnet square is used to predict the percentage or proportion of offsprings of a cross that possess a specific genotype.

According to this question, a punnet square shows a cross between two tall pea plants. The allele for tall height (T) is said to be dominant while the allele for short height (t) is recessive.

If two heterozygous genotype crosses i.e. Tt × Tt, the percentage of offsprings that will be tall is 75% or ¾.

Therefore, the fraction of offspring that the Punnett square predict will be tall is ¾.

Compare and contrast two of the cycles of matter
Akimi4 [234]
The two cycles of the matter are the carbon and nitrogen cycle. Both of them are biogeochemical cycles, it means that the chemicals spend a portion of the cycle in living things and non-living things. They are also common in that they both recycle nutrients that are essential to all organisms.

They are different in the manner that they cycle. Nitrogen is huge, 78% of the air around us is nitrogen. It cannot be used by plants or animals. Once the nitrogen is used by the plant and make its way to the animal, it can be released to decomposition.

Carbon has no requirement in processing by bacteria prior to plants and animals being able to use. Plants take carbon dioxide and make it sugar, animals eat the sugar. Some of it is released carbon dioxide that we exhale.
