Answer: D) alpha: catabolism

Glycogen is the storage form of carbohydrates in animals. The major sites of storage are liver and muscle.

If a couple has 9 children that are all boys. What is the probability that the 10th child will be a boy or a girl ? SHOW HOW YOU
natka813 [3]

Research over hundreds of years has consistently found that boys naturally outnumber girls at birth. The speculation is that this is nature’s way of countering the relatively high mortality rates of males, and creating more of a gender balance in the population.

In fact boys have 51% likelihood to be born and girls have 49% likelihood to be born. Therefore the test of this result is like a biased coin not a fair coin. Given that both sides of the coin aren’t equal one will dominate over the other.

Even though each birth is independent of each other unless you did anything told by websites to have a girl or by your Obgyn to have a girl then you will have a boy because 51 dominates over 49.

Please look at this link to get the idea of how biased coins are
