Answer:

I believe that you would shade the one in the bottom right corner, but you might want to double check

Step-by-step explanation:

you take a (x,y) coordinate from each quadrant and plug in the numbers to see if the equation is correct. If it isn't, you do not shade that quadrant.

so for example, y<1/2 x

say your coordinate is (2,1)

you plug in the numbers so that it looks like 1>1/2×2.

1/2 × 2 is 1,

so therefore this equation is incorrect because 1 is not greater than one.

The vertices of ABC are A (-5, 5), B (-2,5), C(-2,3).
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

It will be in the attachment below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Translating a vertex 3 units down and 4 units to the left means that the x coordinate is 4 less than before and the y is 3 less. So, subtract 4 from -5 to get -9; from -2 (twice) to get -6 (twice), and subtract 3 from 5 (twice) to get 2 (twice); from 3 to get 0. So, the new coordinates are (-9, 2), (-6, 2), and (-6, 0). The original shape is in red, and the translated shape is blue.

What is the equation of a line going through points (-15,70) and (5,10)
andrey2020 [161]
Simple....

you have:

(-15,70) and (5,10)

Using-->>

\frac{  y_{1} -y_{2} }{ x_{1}-  x_{2} }

\frac{70-10}{-15-5} = \frac{60}{-20} = -3

Using y=mx+b...and any of the coordinates....

70= -3(-15)+b

70=45+b

70=45+b
-45  -45

25=b

y=-3x+25

Thus,your answer.
