Answer:

Spartan men did not have to worry about farming because they had slaves to do it for them.

Explanation:

Since the Spartans had slaves, they didn't really need to worry about any other matters. This gave them the chance to get stronger and focus only on preparation for war, tactics, strategy and all physical training necessary to be able to defeat the enemy in battle. Having slaves, they didn't have to pay attention to farming or any other issue.

In your opinion can science and religion coexist? Religion is based on faith, science on reason/proof? Are they in conflict? Cit
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

Yes,

Science and Religion most people forget that science would not exist without faith. The Book of Gods was the first piece of literature that humans read. And, as many people forget, Islam is the major foundation of science. With Islam, you begin to learn about the Cosmos, you enhance your health, and you discover more about your mission.  Why does Allah (God) mention the bee and emphasize its importance in the Quran, for example?  We discover later in the twentieth century that we require Bees to pollinate our flowers and plants in order for the world to function; without Bees, how would the natural world function?

Why was the sixteenth amendment important to Woodrow Wilson’s efforts to regulate the economy?
aalyn [17]

Answer:

D) the sixteenth amendment allowed congress to break up monopolies

Explanation:

The Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States (Amendment XVI) allows the United States Congress to tax an income tax without apportioning it among the states according to their population or based on the results of a census. This amendment excluded Income Tax from the constitutional requirements of direct taxes, after taxes on income, dividends and interest were qualified as direct taxes by the Supreme Court ruling in the Pollock case against Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. (1895). It was ratified in February 1913.

Why is government protection of consumers important in a capitalist economic system
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

The protection of governments to consumers is very important in the capitalist system. This is so because capitalism as an economic system is based on the mass production of goods and services for the consumption of society as a whole. In this way, producers flood the market with their products, and through competition they regulate their prices, their quantity supplied, and their capturing power. However, indiscriminate competition often leads to prejudice to the rights of consumers, who are ultimately the ones who uphold the system through their interaction with the market. Therefore, the government must protect the rights of consumers, both to avoid abuse by companies and also to protect the consumption chain and thus avoid conflicts that may represent less economic production.
