Roman arquitecture is one of the most important influences of modern architecture. The columns, arches and domes, which are characteristic of Roman architecture, have inspired different buildings from the United States, such as the White House, the Federal Hall in New York City and the Jefferson Memorial. The picture provided shows precisely that American buildings were inspired by Romans columns and arches. Roman architecture has been a souce of inspiration for a lot of buildings for its grandeur and refinement.
