FIrslty let's find the common denominator of 2 3/8 and 1/4:

2 3/8 = 19/8
1/4 = 2/8

Now we have to find out how many 2/8s will fit in one 19/8. To do that we can divide 19 by 2:

19/2 = 9,5

We can see that Dao will be able to make 9 humbergers, because he's still missing 1/8 of meat to do the 10th humberger..

Mimi sells super-sized cookies for $1.50 each and estimates she has expenses of $10 to make one batch of cookies. If the inequal
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

(b) x > 26 cookies

Step-by-step explanation:

The selling price of 1 super-sized cookie, S.P.=$1.50

Let a batch have x cookies.

So, the selling price of x cookies=1.5x

The expences in making one batch of cookies=$10

So, net profit = 1.5x-10

The given inequality to model this is 1.5x - 10 > y, That means the profit for one batch is greater than y.

As she wants to make a profit of at least $30, so for this condition, the value of y is 30.

Now, the given inequality become,

1.5x - 10 >30

\Rightarrow 1.5x>30+10

\Rightarrow x>\frac{40}{1.5}

\Rightarrow x>26\frac{2}{3}

As x is the number of cookies, so, it can't have a fractional value. This can be written as

x>26 or x\geq27.

So, she has to sell more than 26 cookies to make a profit of at least $30.

Hence, option (b) is correct.

HELP<br> FOLLOW PEMDAS RULES<br> 6 ÷ 2(1+2) =<br> GOOD LUCK :)
inysia [295]

Answer:

9

Step-by-step explanation:

PEMDAS IS

parentheses

Exponents

Multiply and divide

Addition and subtraction

First you start with the parentheses so

1 + 2 = 3

Now you have 6/2 x 3

Multiply and divide means you either divide or multiply what ever comes first going left to right

So

6/2 = 3

3 x 3 = 9

If it was reversed we’d have

2 x 3/6 which would be

6/6 = 1

Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose: length = 1m, breadth = 75cm
Arte-miy333 [17]
  • Length of the rectangle = 1 m
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 75 cm = 0.75 m
  • We know, perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + breadth)
  • Therefore, perimeter of the rectangle
