let n = number of signatures she has now.

Create an equation to help solve the problem.

8,000 signatures = 4n.

To find out how many signatures Fiona has now, divide both sides of our equation by 4.

2,000 = n.

Fiona has 2,000 signatures right now

The equation would be 4n=8000
to solve, divide 8000/4=2000, she has collected 2,000 signatures so far

When Ryan counted some dimes and quarters he had 196 coins and a total of $39.40. How many coins of each kind does Ryan have?
Nonamiya [84]
Quarters = x
dimes = 196 - x

10(196 - x) + 25x = 3940
1960 - 10x +25x = 3940
1960 + 15x = 3940
15x = 1980
x = 132

169 - 132 = 64

Therefor there are 132 quarters and 64 dimes

The speed(S) of a car varies partly directly as its mass(M) and partly directly as the quantity (Q) of fuel in it. When the spee
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

S varies partly directly as M and Q.

S=C.

S=KMQ+C.

For the first one...

speed=80,m=220,Q=30.

80=K20×30+C.

80=600K+C......(I).equation one.

For the second one....

speed=60,m=300,Q=40.

60=K300×40+C.

60=12000K+C.....(ii). equation two.

Minus eqtn(I) from eqtn(ii).

80=600K+C.

- 60=12000K+C.

K=0.01754~0.018.

Substitute K=0.018 into eqtn(I).

80=600K+C

80=600×0.018+C.

80=10.8+C.

C=80-10.8=69.2.

The relation is S=0.018MQ+69.2

when speed is 100 and mass is 250 find the volume.

100=0.018×250×Q+69.2.

100=4.5Q+69.2.

4.5Q=100-69.2

4.5Q=30.8.

Q=30.8/4.5.

Q=6.8~7litres.

The figure shows a square, a regular pentagon and a regular hexagon put together. What is the measure of ∠BAC
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

42

Step-by-step explanation:

One angle of a regular pentagon = 108°

One angle of a regular hexagon = 120°.

One angle of a square = 90°

∴ ∠BAC = 360 – (108 + 20 + 90) 360 – 318 = 42°
