Hypothesis: If a higher percentage of people are immune to a disease, then the disease will spread more slowly, because fewer pe

ople will be able to contract it or pass it on. Did the data in this experiment support the lab’s hypothesis? Explain why, citing data from the trials. Which comparisons of Trial A (no immunity) and Trial C (50% immunity) did you include in your explanation? Check all that apply. After six points of contact, fewer people were infected in Trial C than in Trial A. On average, the slope of the graph for Trial C was less than than the slope for Trial A. Infection spread at a slower rate in Trial C than in Trial A. In addition to the ten immune people, three nonimmune people did not become infected.

Lunna [17]

The answer is a ‘series of steps in which enzymes work one at a time to convert a compound to a related compound’. The intermediate products of metabolic pathways are called metabolites. An example of a metabolic cycle is the Glycolysis and Krebs cycles. The product in each step of the metabolic pathways becomes the substrate of the next step in the pathway. There are two types of metabolic pathways; anabolic and catabolic

Answer:

Methane is a chemical compound with the chemical formula CH4, symbolizing one atom of carbon and four atoms of hydrogen. It is a group 14 hydride and the simplest alkaline, and is the main constituent of natural gas. The relative abundance of methane on Earth makes it an economically attractive fuel, although capturing and storing it poses technical challenges due to its gaseous state under normal conditions for temperature and pressure. Methane naturally occurs both below ground and under the seafloor, and is formed by both geological and biological processes. In nature, methane is produced by the anaerobic bacterial decomposition of vegetable matter under water. Methane is important because it can be captured from landfills, can be burned to produce electricity, heat buildings, or power garbage trucks. Methane can also be captured from farm digesters, which are big tanks that contain manure and other waste from barns that house livestock such as cows and pigs. In fact, Jordan Dairy Farms in Massachusetts uses a biodigester to turn cow manure into methane gas, which is used for fuel or turned into electricity.

Why is it important to follow strict safety procedures when handling a urine sample
xz_007 [3.2K]

Because you could easily contaminate the results of the urine if you don't follow exactly what the strict rules dictate This could be a very dangerous thing because if you contaminate the results, then other doctors would think that the patient has some disease that needs to be taken care of which in reality they do not. The patient could also have to go through things or waste money on things that they don't need to because there was something in the urine that wasn't supposed to be there which was added because they didn't follow the strict rules. Then the doctor who contaminated it could be sued for malpractice which is never a good thing.
