Which of the following regularities in behavior can most likely be accounted for by the existence of a group norm?
Luden [163]

Answer:

It would be something like students tend to use less profanity with adults than they do with their peers.

Explanation:

The existence of a group norm often create some sort of pressure for people to conform due the fear of being outcasted by the groups.

Because When students are hanging out with their peers, they will become more likely to mimic the way their peers talk or behave even if they're thought differently by their parents.

Compare and contrast the social contract theories of Thomas Hobbes and John locke
Naddik [55]
Hobbes is a good example of the old way of thinking about social contracts and Locke had more modern ideas. Hobbes, having lived through various horrible periods of English history was very pessimistic. He believed people were inherently evil and that the social contract between them and the monarch should be lifelong labor in exchange for protection. As a result, Hobbes believed people had no given rights upon birth. Locke had a very different view than Hobbes and reflected much more modern enlightenment thinking. He believed that the government should be a democracy, and should guarantee unalienable rights to citizens.
