Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

The Eva Opened a "Women's-Only Health Spa". it is expected to have women as majority employees due to the privacy and gender management. She already has 4 employees out of 20 as males, not that she does not have males as employees.

She probably rejected jack because that role, (Locker room attendant), will require sensitive responsibilities which are not stated in the passage. obviously, she would require a female for that role.

She can defend her case by showing that female is a bona fide occupational qualification for the job, based on the reason i stated above.

The best option is Option D

ladessa [460]

Answer:

c. Media reports of information often leave out details about the nature of the sample used in a given study.

Explanation:

Here Haley rushes to make conclusions based on what she read from the magazine without considering the missing information from the reports in the magazine- no information on how study was conducted such as the nature of sample used in the study to make conclusions that people who drink coffee are smarter than people who don't.

What impact does propaganda have on people?
Andrew [12]

Answer: propaganda is based on supposition of malleability of human nature. In late 19th century there were many theories (psychology of masses, i.e.Gustav Le Bon or Italian sociology of elites, i.e. Vilfredo Pareto, Mosca etc etc.) which propounded idea of malleabilty of human nature and human psyche. The same  can be said about psychoanalysis. The result of that was use of propaganda in 1930s and 1940s (press, radio), establishmemt of ministries of propaganda etc etc. The impact was only short-lived because the intention was to monopolize public space, immunize some social theories and produce closed society.

Explanation: propaganda contradicts idea of democracy. Democracy requires plurality of thoughts, ideas, patterns, behaviour, attitudes, free circulation of all that. Democracy requires open society.
