Out of your $67 for the day, $40 of it goes to the rental before you even drive it out of the lot.  That leaves you $27 a day for mileage.

$27 / $0.18 per mile = <u>150 miles</u> per day, tops.

Daily\ budge:\\\$67\\\\Subtract\ permanent\ cost\ of\ renting\ a \ car\ per\ day:\\\ \$67-\$40=\$27\\\\To\ calculate\ amount\ of\ miles\ divide\ cost\ per\ mile\ by\ our\ rest-\$27\\\\changing\ units:\\cost\ per\ mile\ - \ \ \18\ cents =0,18\$\\\\ \frac{27\$}{0,18\$}=150 \ miles\\\\ In\ one\ day\ 150\ miles\ can\ be\ made.

Peter has a dozen sticks of butter. He needs 1/6 of a stick to make an omelet. How many omelets can peter make
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

<em>72 omelets</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

If the whole stick of butter is cut into 6 pieces, and you can use one of those 6 pieces of butter per omelet, you can make 6 omelets with one stick of butter. Now, you have 12 sticks of butter, and you can make 6 omelets with each. 12 x 6= 72. I believe u can make 72 omelets in all.

Hope this helps dear!!

RIGHT ANSWER WILL RECEIVE BRANLIEST, FIVE STARS, AND A THANKS
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

An outlier can affect the mean by a lot.  For example, if my neighbor moves out and Bill Gates moves in (he would be a <u>super</u> outlier!), the mean annual income would increase enormously.

The median, on the other hand, would not change at all.  The income in the middle is still the income in the middle; Gates' income would not budge the median.
