Solving equations : 4n-6=6n+14 Please show work!!!

4n - 6 = 6n + 14; what I did was circle the same terms which would be 4n and 6n both are positive so your results would be 10n after that your equation becomes like this. . . 10n - 6 = 14, I then remove - 6 to where 14 is (- 6) would become (+ 6) it be 14 + 6 which is 20 your final would show as . . .
10n = 20 look at (10n) and change it to (10)n you would then divide the 20 with just the 10 your answer should be n = 2 like so. . . .

(4n) - 6 = (6n) + 14
10n (- 6) = 14 (+ 6) -- cause you just switch your negative 6 into a positive 6 and added with 14 your last equation would be. . .
(10)n = 20 --- after having the 10 by it self you divide it over to 20 it should be 20/10 which the answer should be 2
N is now alone and all you do is put your 2 down, like so. . .
n = 2
