• farmers were providing too many goods and nobody wanted to buy them.

• banks were failing as to having no money

• droughts were occurring

• the rich werent acting equal and were being selfish with their goods

2)

• he didnt care about the stock market crash and thought it was just going to fix on its onself him being lazy that actually LED to the great depression
• he basically did nothing thats why he got the name of "do nothing"
