Hi, do you have a specific question with fractions to work on?

When you are adding or subtracting fractions, always find a common denominator first or you cannot add them or subtract them.

When you are multiplying fractions, you can just multiply. You do not have to worry about finding a common denominator.

When you are dividing fractions, keep the first fraction the same. Then, change the division to multiplication. Always keep in mind that when you are dividing fractions, you are actually multiplying. The last step of dividing fractions is to flip the second fraction to the opposite of what it is. Do not change the sign though.
An example of this is if you had the problem 1/2 divided by 2/3. Your math would look like this:

1/2  /   2/3

1/2 * 3/2

3/4 is the answer

I hope that this helps :)

Answer:

By distance formula ,

AB = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2}

AB = \sqrt{(-1-5)^2 + (6-3)^2}

AB = \sqrt{36 + 9}

AB = \sqrt{45}

AB = 6.708(approx)

To give answer in 3 significant figures :

AB = 6.70

PLEASE HELP ASAP
konstantin123 [22]

we conclude that the sequence has 8 terms.

<h3>How to get the number of terms in the sequence?</h3>

Here we have the geometric sequence:

2/81, 4/27, 8/9, ..., 6912

Notice that each term is equal to 6 times the previous term, such that:

2/81*6 = 4/27

4/27*6 = 8/9

Then the n-th term is equal to:

a_n = a_1*r^{n-1}

Where in this case:

a_1 = 2/81\\\\r = 6

Now we need to find the value of n such that:

(2/81)*6^{n-1} = 6912\\\\6^n = 6*6812*(81/2) = 1,679,616

If we apply the natural logarithm to both sides, then:

n*ln(6) = ln(1,679,616)\\n =  ln(1,679,616)/ln(6) = 8

Then we conclude that the sequence has 8 terms.
