Hello :)

The industrial revolution is when many innovations were made , for example, the introduction of machinery and other technological advances that began in Europe in the late 18th and 19th centuries . Imperialism is when nations take over other countries, either by conquering them or by gaining control of their political and economic systems . So the Industrial Revolution would impact imperialism because other leaders of other nations would want to go to other nations so they could take over the new innovations or natural resources that their country doesn't have. The best answer her would be d. European nations conquered other lands to gather natural resources needed to fuel industrialization

A parliament in a country usually presents a new law or how an old one should be changed and then they vote on it. This is the legislative process and the laws themselves are the legislature. Which statement best illustrates Siddhartha Gautama’s view toward wealth?
34kurt

The BEST answer is:

d. Gautama believed that he could best help others by giving up his wealth.

While there certainly is truth to answer C (as selected by the other respondent), Siddhartha Gautama's view toward wealth was more than a passive realization that it did not bring happiness. Even more so it was an active view that translated into action, giving up one's wealth to benefit others. He said of wealth, "A kind man who makes good use of wealth is rightly said to possess a great treasure; but the miser who hoards up his riches will have no profit."

Siddhartha Gautama is known as "The Buddha" (the "Enlightened One"). The details about his life history are debated by scholars, but we know the historical personage of Siddhartha Gautama as a teacher in ancient India around the 5th or 6th century BC. Buddhism is patterned after his teachings.

What was trench warfare in simple words please
Harman [31]

Trench warfare was the main style of war during World War I. It consisted of both sides of the war, called fronts, digging trenches in the ground for their soldiers to live and fight in. Trenches were deep ditches dug in the ground that were often cramped and dirty. As the dug trenches further forward, they would take more land in the battle.

This was a very slow process and often would result in tens of thousands of casualties for a few yards of land. This is especially true because of the heavy use of mounted machine guns that both sides of the war used. These guns would tear through enemies easily. This style of warfare was also vulnerable to bombings and gas attacks, as the soldiers were stuck in the trenches and the heavy poisonous gasses would sink into the trenches.
