It would be absolutely false to say <span>M ∠CAD = 0.3(m(GE) - m(CD)), based on the diagram that is attached with the question. The correct option among the two options that are given in the question is the second option. I hope that this is the answer that has actually come to your desired help.</span>

I dont understand can someone help?
nalin [4]
First you need to find area of square which is side x side which is 8x8 which is 64. Then you find the side of the triangle which is 14-8 which is 6 then you need to find the height of the dotted line I’m pretty sure there’s a formula but it looks like it’s 8 because it looks like a square so then the formula of a triangle is base times height divided by two so the base is 6 and height is 8 so 6x8 which is 48 and divided by two is 24 then you add the area of the triangle and the area of the square which is 64 so 64+24 which is 88 so I’m pretty sure the area is 88 then just put whatever units after :)

Need help please assist me find the area of a regular hexagon
garri49 [273]

Answer:

The area of the regular hexagon is 166.3\ units^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of a regular hexagon can be divided into 6 equilateral triangles

so

step 1

Find the area of one equilateral triangle

A=\frac{1}{2}(b)(h)

we have

b=r=8\ units

h=4\sqrt{3}\ units ----> is the apothem

substitute

A=\frac{1}{2}(8)(4\sqrt{3})

A=16\sqrt{3}\ units^{2}

step 2

Find the area of 6 equilateral triangles

A=(6)16\sqrt{3}=96\sqrt{3}=166.3\ units^{2}
