<span>The Ostrogoths' kingdom was separated from central europe by the ALPS, while the Anglo-Saxons' kingdom was separated from the rest of Europe by the -ENGLISH CHANNEL -- as we would call it today.  Then they might have called it by the ancient name (from Ptoltemy) - "Oceanus Brittanicus" or the Anglo-Saxons would have called it the "South Sea."

Despite the efforts of humanitarian aid organizations, some refugees end up as slaves or prostitutes.
adoni [48]
True.

And this is not only true for the distant and not so distant past, it's also true for the present as well. Slaves and prostitutes still exist around the world, despite us thinking that slavery may have been abolished. This is sadly not the case; in some areas in Africa and the Middle east, slavery still exists.

Which of the following was NOT a key industry growing at this time?
ella [17]

Answer:

I believe the industry that is not growing at this time are the railroads.

Explanation:

I believe the railroad company is not growing right now because in many countries people are not even allowed to go outside, so how could they go on a train. For the countries that are allowing people to go out, the citizens that do go outside are usually people who need to go to their job and they will not go on a train because they will be trying to social distance and stay away from other people.
