What must the distance be between charges of +2.35 and −1.96 for the attractive force between them to be the same as that betwee
Pie
Force is:F = k * ( q1 * q2 ) / r²Therefore:k * ( 2.35 * 1.96 ) / r² = k * ( 4.06 * 2.11 ) / ( 2.26 )²   / : k4.606 / r² = 8.5666 / 5.10768.5666 r² = 4.606 * 5.1076r² = 23.5256 : 8.5666r² = 2.7462r = √2.7462Answer:r = 1.66 pm

What is the surface area of the solid that this net can form?
Sergeu [11.5K]
C. 210 sq cm.

13 + 12 + 5 = 30 (length)
30 • 5 = 150 sq cm (the total area of the long rectangles across)

12 • 5 = 60 sq cm
(no need to divide by 2 even if they are triangles because there are two on either side so they would cancel out)

150 + 60 = 210 sq cm.

2. The quotient of a number and -9 increased by 10 is 11.
MrMuchimi

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This question isn't worded the greatest, there are two ways you can read this.

1.  The quotient of a number and -9, increased by 10, is 11

2. The quotient of a number, and -9 increased by 10, is 11

The first equation will look like this

\frac{x}{-9} +10 = 11

And the second will look like this

\frac{x}{-9+10} = -11

So I have solved for both (I personally believe the second way of reading the question is the correct way)
