X : number of tacos they sell per day. ...... profit = y = 3.25 × x - 210 ......inequality. y > 0. so. x > 210/3.25 = 840/13 = 64. ......so the taco stand must sell at least 65 tacos for making profit.

Which relations are functions?
pychu [463]

For a relation to be a function every x value will have a single y value.

The first one has two x values of -2 but their y values are different so can’t be a function.

The second one has two 10’s with different y values so isn’t a function.

The 3rd one has 1 and -1 with the same y value, so isn’t a function.

The correct answer is the 4th choice

The perimeter of a rectangle is 16 inches. The equation that represents the perimeter of the rectangle is 2l + 2w=16, where l re
cricket20 [7]
2l + 2w = 16
2(l+ w)  = 16    Divide both sides by 2
l + w =  16/2

l + w  =  8

So for example the length l could be 5 and the width could be 3.
Length could be 5.

A consumer believes that a certain potato chip maker is putting fewer chips in their regular bags of chips than the advertised a
dybincka [34]

Answer:

a) No

b) No

c) P value is more than 0.05.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Population mean, μ = 12 ounces

Sample size, n = 49

P-value = 0.136

First, we design the null and the alternate hypothesis

H_{0}: \mu = 12\text{ ounces}\\H_A: \mu < 12\text{ ounces}

We use One-tailed z test to perform this hypothesis.

a) Alpha, α = 0.05

Since, p-value > α,

The null hypothesis should not be rejected. We accept the null hypothesis and reject the alternate hypothesis. We conclude that the average chip weight is 12 ounces per bag.

b) Alpha, α = 0.10

Since, p-value > α,

The null hypothesis should not be rejected. We accept the null hypothesis and reject the alternate hypothesis. We conclude that the average chip weight is 12 ounces per bag.

c) The evidence is statistically significant at the .05 level means that the p value is more than 0.05.

Which choices are equivalent to the fraction below? check all that apply 16/36
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

\frac{16}{36} = \frac{8}{18} = \frac{4}{9}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/4.5}{36/4.5} = \frac{3.5555}{8} \neq \frac{3}{8} \\\\\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/12}{36/12} = \frac{1.3333}{3} \neq \frac{1}{3} \\\\\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/9}{36/9} = \frac{1.7777}{4} \neq \frac{1}{4} \\\\\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/4}{36/4} = \frac{4}{9} \\\\\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/7.2}{36/7.2} = \frac{2,2222}{5} \neq \frac{2}{5} \\\\\frac{16}{36} = \frac{16/2}{36/2} = \frac{8}{18} \\\\
