TEA [102]

Greater decreases in overall brain volume in later adulthood is associated with an unclear exact relationship in cognitive abilities and cognitive functioning.

How brain changes in late adulthood?

The brain's size reaches roughly 90% of its adult volume by the time a child is six years old. The brain begins to contract in our 30s and 40s, and by the time we reach our 60s, the brain is contracting even more rapidly. The brain begins to change in appearance, just like wrinkles and gray hair do later in life.

The brain actually shrinks and its overall mass decreases as adults. There are decreases in some neurotransmitters as well, including dopamine and acetylcholine. Loss of memory for recent events, familiar names, and familiar duties is the first sign of Alzheimer's disease. In old age, general knowledge memory does not deteriorate. There has been a deterioration in episodic and event memory.

The observation is sometimes erratic with intravenous administration?
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

False.

Explanation:

Intravenous drug administration consists of applying a drug directly into the patient's vein. This type of drug administration promotes more accurate observations on the drug's effects on the patient's body and on the drug's effectiveness in fighting the disease, mainly because intravenous administration allows the drug to act faster, even when applied in large volumes.

Serga [27]

Answer:

There is a low probability that a future pregnancy would exhibit similar phenotypes since it probably was a germinative line mutation that affected that egg.

Explanation:

The malformations of the unborn child, probably are due to a mutation in the germ cell of any or both parents. Germline mutations are detectable changes in a sperm or egg that we can see when the fetus is growing, as malformations since the original germ cell that was mutated divided itself to give more mutated cells for all the different parts of the fetus.

A client expresses interest in having an intrauterine device (IUD) placed for contraception. Which finding noted in the health history would indicate to the nurse that this would not be an appropriate contraceptive option Bicornate uterus

What is intrauterine device ?

A small, frequently T-shaped birth control device called an intrauterine device (IUD), sometimes known as an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD or ICD), or coil, is put into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. IUDs are one type of reversible long-acting birth control (LARC). According to one study, women who provide family planning services more frequently (41.7%) than the general public (12.1%) choose LARC methods. IUDs and other contraceptive implants are the birth control devices that give users the most satisfaction.

Both teenagers and individuals who have never had children can safely and effectively use IUDs. Even after prolonged use, fertility quickly returns to normal after an IUD is removed.
