Answer;

-Positive charge

Prior to the arrival of a signal from a presynaptic input, the post-synaptic membrane is polar with a greater relative positive charge to the ECF

Explanation;

-Neurons talk to each other across synapses. In somatic neurons, an action potential arrives at the synapse causing synaptic vesicles to fuse with the presynaptic membrane. The pre-synaptic membrane releases acetyl choline via exocytosis into the extracellular of the synaptic cleft.

-The ACh diffuses across the cleft and binds to the ligand-regulated sodium channels. Activated sodium channels allow a rapid diffusion down its electrochemical gradient towards the ICF. The movement of positive charges to the ICT causes the relative charge across the membrane to become positive on the inner surface.

The Canada goose and its subspecies may be undergoing _______, the process of new species forming or becoming distinct.
kobusy [5.1K]

Answer:speciation

Explanation: Speciation is the evolutionary process by which populations evolve to become distinct species. There are four geographic modes of speciation in nature, based on the extent to which speciating populations are isolated from one another these are allopatric, peripatric, parapatric, and sympatric. Speciation may also be induced artificially, through animal husbandry, agriculture, or laboratory experiments.

When applying rigid-body mechanics to the study of human beings, which assumption is made?A. All of the above are assumed.B. The
Marat540 [252]

When applying rigid-body mechanics to the study of human beings, the assumption made is Option B.The body does not deform by bending, stretching, or compressing.

Explanation:

Rigid body mechanics is a body in which the gap between any two points will be constant in time, despite of external forces. The body cannot be deformed at any circumstances be it under application of any force. The forces acting over the body gets divided into two groups one is external, which shows the action of different bodies on the rigid body under force and internal force that binds the body together making it rigid. Body changes its motion only in case of pull against some external object.
