Answer:

Option A: Andrew is content to stay on the family farm, while Robert dreams of traveling.

and

Option C: Andrew enjoys working the land when Robert prefers reading and thoughts of adventure.

Explanation:

Option A is correct because Andrew's is a farmer by nature. He is Robert's hardy elder brother, While Robert is of delicate, poetic and romantic nature. He loves to read books and travelling.

Option C is also correct because it says the same thing in option A but in different words. Andrew is a hard worker. He knows exactly how to manage a farm, while Robert being of poetic nature and fond of reading books is not able to properly manage the farm, which in the end is in full disarray.

Option B is not correct: They both care much about their family. One of the reason behind Robert's plan to leave the farm and go on sea voyage was that he loved Ruth and wanted not to interfere in Ruth future with Andrew proposed marriage. When it becomes known that Ruth loves Robert and not Andrew, Andrew leaves because he too did not want to interfere in Robert's future with Ruth.

Option D is not correct: Firstly this option does not show any contrast between the two brothers. Secondly, Although Andrew told Robert that he would miss him, but it does not mean that he was resentful.

Why does Johnson say that Shakespeare's drama is the mirror of life?
agasfer [191]

Shakespeare's language, according to Johnson, is understandable. Shakespeare's characters are said to differ from one another in terms of how they use language.

Shakespeare is praised by Johnson, who says, "His theatre is the mirror of life." Johnson claims that because his plays are so realistic, we may learn useful information from them. The division of Shakespeare's plays into comedies and tragedies, in Johnson's view, is incorrect; he continues, "Shakespeare's plays are not in the rigorous and critical sense either tragedies or comedies, but compositions of a distinct kind." Eliot agrees that it is incorrect to categorize Shakespeare's dramas as tragic, comic, or historical. He believes that rational thought leads to moral thinking.
