The first problem with any DCT is that we have no evidence that there even is the requisite God, much less which God’s commands are the commands of that God. There are hundreds of different ethical systems attributed to “God.” This is so even within the umbrella of Christian theism; all the more so when we consider other theisms.

The socially determined behaviors expected of a person performing a role are called role performances.
gregori [183]

Answer:

False.

Explanation:

According to the role theory, people, as members of society, assume particular social roles and their day to day activities are defined by these roles. While roles are comprised of duties, rights, and behaviors, they also come with expectations from other people.

Role Expectations include qualities and actions, which the role performed has to meet. For example, woman who performs role of a ‘mother’ is expected to be caring (quality) and dedicate her active time to parenting (action).

One of the most useful generalizations in psychology is that "behavior is adaptive." Explain this generalization and describe ho
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

The generalization that "behavior is adaptive" is not new. It has been used to describe many psychological processes. The first one is cognitive dissonance. In psychology, cognitive dissonance occurs when a person holds contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values and is typically experienced as psychological stress when they participate in an action against one or more of them. The second one is conformity, the tendency for people to yield to real or imagined social pressure. Displaced aggression is taking aggression out on a person that had nothing to do with the conflict he/she is upset about. The fourth one is in-group bias, which is the act of favoring one's group over other groups, where group membership is defined as an individual's perceived identification with a social group's qualities, goals, or morals. The mere exposure effect is the sixth term. This is a psychological phenomenon by which people tend to prefer things merely because they are familiar with them. This effect is also sometimes classed familiarity principle in social psychology. In psychology, prejudice is the preconceived judgment, opinion, or attitude toward certain people based on their membership in a particular group. It is a set of attitudes, which supports, causes, or justifies discrimination. Social loafing in social psychology is the phenomenon of a person exerting less effort to achieve a goal when they work in a group than when working alone. It is seen as one of the main reasons groups are sometimes less productive than the combined performance of their members working as individuals. These all support the generalization that "behavior is adaptive" because all of them can be considered adaptive.

Read Carolina Blue’s credit report below. Carolina is seeking a bank loan to purchase a new vehicle. Analyze Carolina’s credit r
Setler79 [48]

The credit report refers to the record of the credit history of a person.

A credit report is simply referred to as a record of the repayment of the debt of a borrower. It shows the record of the credit history of a borrower from different sources.

In this case, the credit report will be used in determining if Carolina will be given the loan or not. In a situation whereby Carolina pays the loans that she had taken earlier on time, this can ensure that she'll be given another loan.

On the other hand, if Carolina doesn't pay back her loans in time, this can discourage the bank from given her the loan.
