Although a cell may resemble that, the toys would not resemble the organelles within a cell.

Bathtub toys don’t function on their own, nor do they exactly have a nucleus (unless the nucleus is the little brother). This would be a flaw in the analogy.

That, as well as the fact that bathtubs do not have a selectively permeable cell wall or layer, it has walls that either overflow or don’t.
