Is: the rough fur allele in guinea pigs is dominant, while the smooth fur allele is recessive. And the genotypes are: A is for rough fur, b is for smooth fur. AA is pure rough smoot, AB is Rough fur and smooth fur and BB is smoth fur.

Explanation:

To understand this I have to explain a lot of topics so be careful. First, we have 2 different types of fur. Provided by the let's call them "parents" they both can have rough or smooth fur allele. However one is stronger than the other. A represents the allele or rough fur while B is the one for smooth fur. On the first hand, we need 2 of them to create a fur type. Because in our world we need 2 parent cells to create life. One from the father and one from the mother. Now, there can only be three types of combinations. AA in case both have rough fur. AB in which without taking into account the order of sex one of them has rough fur while the other has smooth fur and finally the last one in which both have smooth fur BB.

Each genotype has a 50% chance of occurring in a particular generation. However, the occurrence of nine offspring with smooth coats in the heterozygous (Rr) and homozygous (rr) parents indicates that the recombination frequency of chromosomes in this crossover is low. If two genes on the same chromosome are close together, the recombination is low; hence, the crossover would rarely happen.
