In three years, you want to travel to Europe which you expect to cost $10,000 at that time. You have deposited $5,000 in a Certi

ficate of Deposit that pays 6% interest annually and will mature in three years. You also have a rich aunt who will give you an investment which pays 10% annual returns that will make up the balance of the $10,000 not paid for by the CD. How much must you aunt invest today?

If the answer is within three years after your aunt makes an investment as well the math co.e around 3000 to 31000 dollars with it close to 3050.
Your Equations: 5000 x 1.06^3 = 5955.08
For finding the other number for the aunt I just guess checked at Y x 1.1^3 and found it to be around 3050

Need help with this question about amplitude
lesantik [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

the amplitude is the height of the wave.

like with sound - the further away you are, the lower the volume of the sound (as the sound volume is the indicator of the amplitude of a sound wave, or the brightness of a light is the indicator of the amplitude of a light wave).

the same for any other type of wave (like the seismic wave of an earthquake).

so, the larger the distance, normally the smaller the amplitude.

vodomira [7]

Answer:

3.14

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the circumference of the circle:

2\pi r = Circumference.

2 * \pi * 6 = 12\pi

Find the ratio of the angle in relation to the entire circle:

30^o is what we have. So:

\frac{30^o}{360^o} = \frac{1}{12}

Use the ratio and multiply the circumference to find the length:

12\pi * \frac{1}{12} = \pi

Round answer to the hundredth:

\pi = 3.14

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Differentiate using the product rule

Given y = f(x)g(x), then

\frac{dy}{dx} = f(x). g'(x) + g(x). f'(x)

here f(x) = e^{x} ⇒ f'(x) = e^{x}

g(x) = cosx ⇒ g'(x) = - sinx

Hence

\frac{dy}{dx} = e^{x}(- sinx) + cosx e^{x}

                                   = e^{x}cosx - e^{x}sinx
