Photosynthesis : The conversion of light energy to chemical energy that is stored in glucose or other organic compounds; occurs in plants, algae, and certain prokaryotes. photosynthesis happens in the plant to form its own food by changing simple substances(water, carbondioxide, light absorbed by chlorophyll) into complex substances the first result of it is PGAL compoud which continue to form disacharides, while cellular respiration is breaking down the complex substances in to simple ones to release energy needed to carry out different activities by changing the stored energy to atp molecules which is the only form of enegy that a plant can deal with

Cellular respiration : The most prevalent and efficient catabolic pathway for the production of ATP, in which oxygen is consumed as a reactant along with the organic fuel C6H12O6 + 6O2 → energy (~36ATP) + 6H2O +6CO2
Glucose + oxygen→ energy(ATP) +water + Carbon Dioxide
