Write a letter to your brother who has been studying abroad for the past five years . Describe at least three ways it which the
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

Dear John,

I do hope this letter will find you in good health. It has been a long time since you visit us. I realized that things in the city have changed since you moved five years ago. During these years, the local council has improved our town in so many ways that my life now is excellent in contrast to what it used to be, let me tell you about it.

One of the most notorious changes was the new mall, which created several jobs for the people. I work there. I have met so many interesting people and learned a lot about managing a place.

Also, Do you remember the abandoned factory? The council demolished it and made a park. It is an excellent place to go for a run and to meet with friends. I like going there and meditate after a run. Since the park opened, I have improved my health.

Lastly, the local council built a public library with free internet and brand new installations. I love studying there. It has all that I need to do well in school.

I hope you visit us soon so that you can see the changes.

Kisses!

Jenna.

Explanation:

When we write a letter to a friend or relative, we use informal language.

In the first paragraph, we have to greet the reader and briefly describe what we want to tell in the following section. Next, we write the main paragraphs. In each paragraph, we write about one change and how it has changed our life. Lastly, we use a closing sentence and say goodbye.

How does the poet’s reference to the portrayal of love in films and songs contribute to the poem’s meaning (Lines 17-19)? in the
oksano4ka [1.4K]

The poem "What Love Isn't" has a few lines about movies and songs. The particular lines 17 through 19 in the poem are "good sometimes. It is discomfort — it is  not what the films say. Only songs  get it right."

The poem refers to love not always being a five star stay (first sentence) and that it is a solid thing but not always sweet. The reference shows that real life love can have an unhappy ending and there is a conflict in real life and with movies it is always happiness and love conquers all. So many songs do tell the story of breaking up, sadness, and real emotions.

The theme can of the poem shows that love is irregular, it is difficult, and will always be a surprising part of life.

PLEASE HELP :'(
erastova [34]

Answer:

sorry this is late

In this excerpt there is a situational irony that leaves every animal confused and speechless. It seems ironic that squealer so happened to be at the side of the barn with the seven commandments, a ladder (now broken), and a bucket of paint and a paint brush. Due to the situation unfolding in front of the animals they where almost all in shock and only Benjamin could process what had just happened yet didn't say anything. Orwell's use of irony  also helps foreshadows the fact that the commandments are starting to change over the course of Napoleons rule over the farm.
