Analyzing the Evidence
Sergio039 [100]

Answer: Tusser's couplet reference the wifely duty of making the household's candles for the winter, one of the many housekeeping duties women were expected to complete ( all while being thrifty and saving their pennies). Both Holyoke and Lucas seemed to be very hardworking women who lead extraordinary busy  lives, but Holyoke 's work is more in line with Tusser's description. Holyoke's diary list the range of household tasks she completed ( like making soap, cleaning the house, making food). Lucas likely had to complete similar tasks as well as a women, but her letters are focused on the responsibilities she as the manager of three plantations.

Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

Suffragists in both nations formed organizations to win the vote and achieved their goals gradually, with some militant protests as part of their approach. Adult women in America achieved their goal in 1920; British women of that age not until 1928. The success of the militant group was not achieved until the end of World War I, but it did call attention to their goals.

What is Niagara Falls known for?
notka56 [123]

Answer:

Niagara Falls, although are not the highest in the world, are famous for their breadth and flow, in addition to serving as a natural border between the United States and Canada, in the eastern part of North America.

The American side of the falls is located in New York with the <em>"American Falls" </em>and the smaller ones, the <em>"Bridal Veil Falls"</em>,  while the Canadian side is in Ontario with the <em>"Canadian Falls"</em> also known as <em>"Horseshoe Falls". </em>

It should be noted that these impressive waterfalls were formed in the last Earth glaciation and the water that flows through them comes from four large lakes and then flows down the Niagara River to Lake Ontario, following the St. Lawrence River to empty into the Atlantic Ocean .
