2. To transport water to the entire plant, especially the leaves where photosynthesis takes place. This is important because water is required for photosynthesis to take place.

3. Chlorophyll.

4. The palisade layer contains the most chloroplasts.

5. The function of the stomata is to allow gas exchange to facilitate photosynthesis. It also controls the rate of photosynthesis to regulate water use of the plant. Without it, plant would have severely hindered transpiration, causing the plant to die.

6. Chloroplasts are where photosynthesis takes place. Without chloroplasts, no synthesis would happen.

7. A leaf from a desert plant would likely have less stomata to conserve water content in the plant from evaporation due to environmental factors. This is because water escapes to the environment when stomata are open in plants. The contrary would be the case for plants in a tropical environment where water is more abundant and sunlight is more lacking.

What do lithium carbonate, carbamazepine (tegretol), and valproate (depakote) have in common?
NemiM [27]

All the mentioned drugs are mood-stabilizing drugs.

A mood stabilizer refers to a psychiatric pharmaceutical drug used in the treatment of mood disorders featured by sustained and intense mood shifts, usually borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder type I or type II, and schizoaffective disorder.

The term mood stabilizer does not illustrate a mechanism, however, an effect. More accurate terminology is used to categorize these agents.

Sugars are large, hydrophilic molecules that are important energy sources for cells. how can they enter cells from an environmen
Arte-miy333 [17]

The correct answer is by facilitated diffusion.

The procedure of continuous passive transport of ions or molecules through a semi-permeable membrane with the help of particular transmembrane integral proteins is known as facilitated or passive-mediated transport or facilitated diffusion.

It is a modification of osmosis incorporating a proteinaceous channel via which an extracellular solute can enter a cell in the absence of energy.

If a solution process is exothermic, how does the energy required for dissolving the solute compare with the energy released?
Misha Larkins [42]
If a solution process is exothermic, the energy required for dissolving the solute compare with the energy released is that, the energy requiredis less than the energy released. When we sayexothermic, heat is evolved. On the other hand, when heat is absorbed, this is called endothermic.
