A student wrote the following sentences to prove that the two pairs of parallel opposite sides of parallelogram ABCD are congrue

nt: For triangles ABD and CDB, alternate interior angles ABD and CDB are congruent because AB and DC are parallel lines. Alternate interior angles ADB and CBD are congruent because AD and BC are parallel lines. DB is congruent to DB by _______________. The triangles ABD and CDB are congruent by ASA postulate. As corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent, AB is congruent to DC and AD is congruent to BC by CPCTC. Which phrase best completes the student's proof?

Without graphing, what does the equation y space equal space left parenthesis y=(x-3)(x+5), tell you about the graph of the func
Marat540 [252]
If we let y be equal to zero, we get the roots of the equation. Because the equation is already in the factored form, we then say that the roots of the equation are x = 3 and x = 5. Another thing that is notable of this equation is that the graph would pass the x-axis at the points 3 and 5.

This is a quadratic equation because there are two roots and the highest exponent achievable by performing the expansion of the terms is 2. this equation can be of a parabola and the opening is upward because of the positive value of the numerical coefficients both of y and  x in the opposite sides of the equation.

Last Saturday, Kevin walked his dog 1 2/7 miles. Sam walked his dog 7 times as far. How many miles total did both guys walk thei
Annette [7]

Answer:

10\dfrac{2}{7}\ miles

Step-by-step explanation:

If Kevin walked his dog 1 2/7 miles and Sam walked his dog 7 times as far, then Sam walked his dog

1\dfrac{2}{7}\cdot 7=\dfrac{1\cdot 7+2}{7}\cdot 7=\dfrac{9}{7}\cdot \dfrac{7}{1}=9\ miles.

Together they walked

1\dfrac{2}{7}+9=10\dfrac{2}{7}\ miles.
