Hey there!

12 - 3 > 9

Rewrite the equation: -3x + 12 > 9

SUBTRACT by 12 on your sides

-3x + 12 - 12 > 9 - 12

Cancel out: 12 - 12 because it gives you 0

Keep: 9 - 12 because it helps us solve for our equation

9 - 12 = -3

New equation: -3x > -3

DIVIDE by -3 on your sides

-3x/3 > -3/-3

Cancel out: -3x/-3 because it doesn't give us what's being compared to the x

Keep: -3/-3 because it gives us our answer

-3/-3 = -3 ÷ -3 = 1

Thus your answer is: x < 1

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

Solve: 3(2x-5)+4x=5x+15

solve: 2(8x-3)=4(4x+7)

Plz, help me!!!!!
Papessa [141]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3*2x=6x, 3*5=10

So, 6x+10+4x = 5x+15

Add 6 and 4 which leaves you with 10x+10 = 5x+15

subtract 10 from 15 and that leaves you with 5 divided by 10x

x=2

Same for second equation

2*8x=16x and 2*3= 6

So 16x-6=16x+28

Add 6 to both sides so you get 34.

Now that 6 is gone you want x on one side so subtract 16x an it leaves you with 0. so X=34

Answer:

-8.3 + 9.2 - 4.4 + 3.7

= -8.3 + 9.2 + (-4.4) + 3.7            {Additive inverse}

= -8.3 + (-4.4) + 9.2 + 3.7            {Commutative Property}

= [ -8.3 + (-4.4] + [ 9.2 + 3.7]       {Associative property}
