Nephron is a basic unit of kidney,in which urine is formed through the process of filtration (it occurs in glomerulus of the nephron). Ureters travel out of kidney through hilum and pour urine into the urinary bladder. Urethra is a tube with the role to tranport the urine from the bladder when the bladder is full.
Moist walls - gases dissolve in the moisture helping them to pass across the gas exchange surface. Permeable walls - allow gases to pass through. Extensive blood supply - ensuring oxygen rich blood is taken away from the lungs and carbon dioxide rich blood is taken to the lungs.
