With HL, we can say that a right triangle is congruent because its hypotenuse and one leg are the same. Keep in mind, this only works with right triangles- and we know that both are right by the box in the corner.
We know that the hypotenuse is the same because of the tick marks on both sides.
We know that one leg is the same, because that one leg is used by both triangles, so it has to be the same.
The legs that support HL are SP, SR, and SQ.
