What were some positive effects of the war on the US economy?
Stella [2.4K]

The man positive affect of the war was the employment of many, previously jobless, Americans. War always brings new jobs, not just in the military. Factories that built things such as planes, guns, ammunition, etc. needed people to staff those jobs. This opened up thousands, if not millions, of new jobs for Americans.

Another influence is the development of new technologies. When new technologies are developed during wars, America is able to sell those products to different nations. This would be a positive affect on the economy of America.
