inn [45]

Answer: C. the proposal that the Nebraska Territory would decide for itself whether to allow slavery.

Explanation:

The concept of popular sovereignty states that only the residents of the territory can choose whether or not slavery is allowed.

The Kansas-Nebraska Act (1854), proposed by Stephen A. Douglas, stated popular sovereignty to recognize the settlers´ right to make that decision within the new state. This act raised rather than reduced sectional conflicts, leading to Bleeding Kansas, a period of violence foregoing the American Civil War.

Why is tyranny so important
riadik2000 [5.3K]
I think it is important to recognize what tyranny is but not that it be a way to rule. Tyranny is a cruel and repressive government over the people of a land who get to have no say in what is being done. It is an abuse of authority of one person. If people don't recognize this type of government taking over they are doomed to be reigned by someone who will ruin their lives and country.

Despite its potential benefits, there are a number of challenges associated with social media for training and development. True
Nataly [62]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Social media has provided numerous benefits in communication, access to information and research needed for training and development. The merits however, do not come without a number of demerits which could have lasting effects on self image as well as thought patterns.

Social media has an increasing culture of cyber bullying which includes body shaming, talking down opinions which could affect a social media user's self esteem and could make such individual more shy and think less of his/her self image.

Not all content on social media is healthy. Some contents for example, contents containing a lot of nudity could affect the thought patterns formed during development, posing futuristic negative influences on the mindset and behavior.

Social media as well provides a virtual audience which when relied upon for a long time could promote isolation, displacing the importance of physical relationships needed in growth and development

Alex Ar [27]

Answer: A) Experimental effect.

Explanation:

The experimental effect is a cognitive bias exerted by the researcher who exerts an unconscious influence on the expectations that the participant of an experiment has about the results of an experiment will have.

For example, by telling a participant in an experiment that the results will be negative, an influence is exerted which makes the results more likely to be negative.

I hope this information can help you.
