A thing that is really important when talking about capitalism is the fact of exploitation and its roots in the industrial revolution which exploited many people. However, what also needs to be said is the fact that people in capitalism produce huge amounts of varied goods that are helpful for daily needs of people.
When Jesus told Nicodemus that he needed to be born again he meant that he needed to be cleansed of sin. In other words he needed to ask for forgiveness so all of his sins would be washed away.
