It is referred to as the Hayflick Limit which is a premise that explains the concept behind how the cells in the body ages. It explains that such mechanism limits the human cells to divide (this is called mitosis) only forty to sixty times before deteriorating. After its mitosis limit, it reaches its senescence which means it will not divide ever again. Instead, cells will only commit suicide by means of apoptosis. Interestingly all organisms are affected by this molecular clock that only keeps on ticking from the moment of birth to eventual death.

The terminal side of an angle in standard position is a ray that has been rotated from the positive (x) axis.

If the angle measure is positive the rotation is counterclockwise

If the angle measure is negative the rotation is counterclockwise.

The angle measure is positive, so the rotation is 135° is counterclockwise.

Rotate the ray 135° counterclockwise. This rotation puts the terminal side in Quadrant II.

Omar’s tank is 3/10 full. After he buys 11 gallons of gas, it is 4/5 full. How many gallons can Omar’s tank hold?
marin [14]

Answer:

22 gallons.

Step-by-step explanation:

11 gallons took you from 3/10 to 4/5 (same as 8/10).

so the 11 gallons was 5/10- or 1/2 the tank.

if 11 gallons =half a tank, then a full tank is 22 gallons
