96 ÷ 12 is 8, if u cannot think of how many times of 12 can turn to 96, divide them time by time, like they can both be divided by 4, so you get 24/3, then 24 can be divided by 3, and the final answer is 8/1, because its one down there, so u can just ignore it

WILL GIVE BRAINLEIST DUE AT 9:45 P.M. PLS HURRY SUPER EASY.
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

c = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 16 is over the variable c, first multiply both sides by c so the variable is not in the denominator of the fraction.

16/c(c) = 8(c)

16 = 8c Next, divide both sides by 8 to solve for c.

c = 2

Help Please 7 points and I will Mark Brainliest!!
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

x = -1

y = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the two equations together.

You get:

4x = -4

You may notice that there is no y, and that is because the y's cancel out. -y + y = 0, so there's no use in putting y in.

x = -1.

Plugging x in, we get:

-1 - 2y = -7.

Move the -7 over to the left side.

6 = 2y

Therefore, y = 3.

We can check our answer by plugging the values in.

3(-1) + 2(3) is supposed to equal 3.

-3 + 6 = 3, and so we know our answer is correct.

Ryan needs 20 feet of cable. The longest piece on her truck is 18 3/8 feet. How many feet too short is the cable on the truck? *
prisoha [69]

Answer:

1 5/8 too short

Step-by-step explanation:

The cable on the truck is 18 and 3/8 ... to complete the fraction into a whole number we would need 5 more parts in order to complete the entire 8 parts of the fraction. This would make the cable a whole 19 feet. Since Ryan needs 20 ft, this would leave us needing 1 more foot. Therefore, the cable in the truck is

1 5/8 too short
