96 ÷ 12 is 8, if u cannot think of how many times of 12 can turn to 96, divide them time by time, like they can both be divided by 4, so you get 24/3, then 24 can be divided by 3, and the final answer is 8/1, because its one down there, so u can just ignore it

<h3>Answer:      y - 4 = -2(x - 5)</h3>

==================================================

Explanation:

Point slope form is

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

where m is the slope and (x1,y1) is the point the line goes through.

Parallel lines have equal slopes but different y intercepts. The given equation y = -2x-3 has a slope of -2, meaning that m = -2 is also the slope of the mystery parallel line.

-2 will go in the second box that's just to the left of the parenthesis.

The coordinates of (5, 4) will go in the other remaining boxes to finish off the equation.

We go from this

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

to this

y - 4 = -2(x - 5)

What is the y intercept of y=9x-11
svetlana [45]

Answer:

-11

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the y-intercept, simply look at the constant at the end of this equation. Let's look at the linear function equation. The equation is y=mx+b. In this case, the constant is b. The constant always is the non-x term, so for the question, the y-intercept would be -11.

Elizabeth has two identical number cubes. both cubes have faces numbered 1 through 6. If Elizabeth rolls each cube once, What is
Lelechka [254]
The sample space for the two identical dice (outcomes):

(1,1)(1,2)(1,3)(1,4)(1,5)(1,6)

(2,1)(2,2)(2,3)(2,4)(2,5)(2,6)

(3,1)(3,2)(3,3)(3,4)(3,5)(3,6)

(4,1)(4,2)(4,3)(4,4)(4,5)(4,6)

(5,1)(5,2)(5,3)(5,4)(5,5)(5,6)

<span>(6,1)(6,2)(6,3)(6,4)(6,5)(6,6)</span>

<span>
</span>

<span>So if Elizabeth rolls each cube once, there is 36 (6 x 6) possible outcomes.</span>

<span>Let E = event of getting a sum of 10.</span>

<span>The number which is a sum 10 will be:</span>

E = [(4,6), (5,5),(6,4)]

P(E) = number of favorable outcomes divided by total number of possible outcomes

        = 3 / 36 or 0.083
