The first question is saying that one day, a item was 12 dollars! Then, they lowered the prince by 1 dollar. And then again another dollar. And then they added 3 dollars to the price.

The expression would be 12 - 2 + 3!

Evaluating the expression (what’s the answer-solve the expression) would be 13 dollars. So the answer is 13 dollars.

Then what does your answer to part B mean in the context of the problem, (what does 13 mean) it would be 13 means how much money the price is right now! HOPE THIS HELPS! :) ANY QUESTIONS ASK MEEE

Ken's fitness member ship cost $100 to join plus a $25 monthly fee. Ken also used a coupon to get 10% off the monthly fee. What
GREYUIT [131]

The equation that models the total cost is y = 100 + 22.5m

Step-by-step explanation:

Fitness member ship cost = $100

Monthly fee = $25

Discount = 10% on monthly fee

To calculate new monthly fee after discount,

25 - (25*10%) --> 25 - 2.5 --> $22.5

Number of months = m

Fee in m months = 22.5*m = 22.5m

Equation:

(c) is constant which is the membership fee

(x) is the monthly fee $22.5

(m) is the number of months

(y) is the total cost

So,

y = mx + c

y = m(22.5) + 100

y = 100 + 22.5m

Therefore, the equation that models the total cost is y = 100 + 22.5m

Which mathematical statement matches the vector operation shown in the geometric representation?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

First Option v+w = u

Step-by-step explanation:

To graphically add two vectors a and b using the -tail and tip-method, you must draw the tail of b at the tip of the vector a. Then you must draw a line that goes from the tail of a to the tip of b. This line represents the sum of a + b.

In this problem, notice that the tail of the vector w is on the tip of the vector v. The line that joins the tail of v with the tip of w is u.

Therefore we can say that v + w = u.

The answer is the first option
