Write a note on growing of fruits and vegetables by vegetative propagation or any other modern technique
sergiy2304 [10]

Vegetative Propagation.

Vegetative propagation is technique through which plants reproduction takes place in an asexual way. This is usually done by cutting a stem of a plant and to reproduce another plant from the existing one. This can also be done via sexual means.

The advantages of growing of fruits and vegetables by using vegetative propagation are many. The biggest benefit is if we have a plant of a desirable trait, that same plant can be used again and again to reproduce fruits and vegetables. Vegetative propagation is also treated as cloning method.

During which era in earth's history were the first insects?
Pavel [41]

Answer:

Paleozoic

Explanation:

The first insect fossils are dated to the Devonian, but because of the development of the genetics, the scientists have been able to trace the appearance of the first insects in the Ordovician. The insects originated from the crustaceans. Initially they were walking on land, but they hadn't developed wings. The wings came to develop in some insects in the Devonian, and since than it has gradually became one of their trademark features. It is interesting that the first insects actually appeared at the same time with the first terrestrial plants, and also that they are the first organisms to develop wings and be able to fly.

Mercury in a box have density is 30000kg/m^3 height is 20 dm. Determine the pressure of Mercury .
Musya8 [376]

Answer:The pressure of Mercury = 588,600Pa

Explanation:

The pressure of Mercury is given as

p=h x ρ x g

Where h =height= 20 dm

changing to meters

10 decimeters (dm) =1 meter

20dm  =2 meter, 2m

ρ  is the density =30000-kg/m³

g , gravity = 9.81-m/s²

Pressure =  2.0m x 30000-kg/m³ x 9.81-m/s²

588,600 kg.m/  s²/m² =588,600 N/m²

The pressure of Mercury=588,600Pa
