I believe the answer is Siam, since by the 1900s, it was still not under control of European powers or colonial rule. In other words, present day Thailand.

Hope this helps. :)

Angie's mother allows her to schedule her study and relaxation time on her own and, in turn, expects Angie to continue doing wel
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

Co-regulation

Explanation:

In psychology, co-regulation parenting is defined as a parent's support of their children emotional development through motivational or emotional scaffolding, helping their children regulate their behavior and emotions.

In co-regulation, each participant regulates the behavior of the other so it's a two-way process. This process is also continuous and dynamic as the response of one participant regulates the behavior of the other one.

In this example, Angie is free to schedule her study and relaxation time on her own. Angie's mom, on the other side, checks on her school progress and talks to her about her problems and social life.

We can see that Angie's mom is supporting Angie's development by scaffolding, regulating her behavior (study and relaxation time) and emotions (talking about her problems). Angie's mom give her enough freedom to regulate herself but she also checks on her and is there for her to talk about her needs and problems. Thus, this is an example of co-regulation parenting.

The nurse is teaching a first-time parent about the newborn's sleep needs. the nurse would inform the parent that newborns sleep
gogolik [260]

14 to 20 hours

On average, infants require 14 to 20 hours of sleep each day.

Why sleep is necessary for newborn?

A great deal of physical and mental development occurs while babies sleep. An essential fatty layer called myelin forms around nerve fibers during sleep, and recent research shows that connections between the left and right hemispheres of children's brains are strengthened during sleep.

These developments help the brain function to mature. They also affect important abilities such as language, attention, and impulse control. Brain activity during sleep has a direct effect on a child's ability to learn and can even affect development and mood disturbances. Simply put, sleep builds your baby's brain.
