The founder pours melted metal and put in into molds to produce goods. Pewter and brass were used to create ammunition. Ammunition was fired from arms and was needed for pistols and rifles. Now there are many easy ways to produce ammunition due to technological advancements, but in the past, it was a more artisanal way to make them. Experienced founders had to do it.
