France, Russia, and Great Britain are the countries that made up the allied forces of the triple entente.

The Triple Entente was the association between the Russian Empire, the French Third Republic, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland following the signing of the Anglo-Russian Entente on 31 August 1907.

The Triple Entente was not an alliance of mutual defense.  It stemmed from the Franco-Russian alliance that gradually developed and was formalized in 1894, the Anglo-French Entente Cordiale of 1904, and an Anglo-Russian agreement of 1907, which resulted in the creation if the Triple Entente.
