As we know that plants are autotrophs mean they can synthesize their own food through a process called photosynthesis in which plant utilize water, carbon dioxide and sunlight to yield glucose and oxygen so the main purpose of photosynthesis is to convert water and CO2 to glucose and oxygen
hope it helps

Answer:

The correct answer would be synthesis of food with the help of sunlight.

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants or autotrophs make their food from carbon dioxide and water in presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

It converts solar energy into chemical energy (food).

It takes place in chloroplast of the cells. Green plants, algae, and cyanobacteria (it contains chlorophyll not chloroplast) can perform photosynthesis.

Oxygen is released as the byproduct of the process.

The equation for photosynthesis is written in the figure attached below.

Which structure allows the spinal nerves to exit from the spinal cord?
n200080 [17]

Answer:

Intervertebral foramen

Explanation:

These structures are found in between pairs of vertebrae  and not only do spinal nerves pass through them, the spinal artery, veins, and transforaminal ligaments do too. While the spinal cord passes through the vertebral foramen, the spinal nerves exit and enter the spine through these intervertebral foramen to 'serve' the rest of the body.

Which two structures are found ONLY in plant cells?
Naya [18.7K]

The best answer is  C.

Plant cells are surrounded by a cell wall and have chloroplasts whereas animal cell do not.

The cell wall is  a covering that is rigid whose main purpose is to protect the cell and give structural support as well shape to the plant cell. The equivalent of a cell wall in animal cell is the cell membrane, which has distinct differences from the plant  cell wall.

Chloroplasts are plant  cell organelles which carry out photosynthesis by which plants make their own food. These are absent from animal cells because animals do not make their own food, they ingest it from external sources.
